We make special pies during the year like Vegetable Crumble, Pork and Apple and our famous Turkey Christmas Pie
We cook our pies fresh each day & sometimes we run out... We would rather give you a quality fresh pie than the choice of lots of frozen ones.
Pie meals are served with real homemade mashed potatoes, Thick gravy and garden peas.

Provided to us by a local butcher, Mr Halder has been in the business for many years, sourcing all the beef and lamb locally from Ruswarp livestock market (2 miles up the Esk river) he prepares it for us in his purpose built butchery before delivering it to us daily, thereby ensuring we know the provenance of the meat in each of our pies.
Our own flock of twenty hens started off as the children's pets and are now supplying the shop with true free range eggs laying in the acre of woodland were they will also hatch their own babies without any of our intervention the first four have rapidly grown to the twenty plus we have now!! and yes they are all named.
